Our partners enjoy many benefits, including as much or as little support as they need to be successful.

About the Business

Flying Saucer Tea Station sells only the freshest high quality loose teas. Open a bag of Flying Saucer tea and you will find full leaves, delicate flower petals, and lush fruit pieces. Several blends are made with organic ingredients, and most blends are made to order in small batches. This means that aromatics, especially fruit oils, are potent and fragrant.

I offer a small but mighty selection of flavors. My teas range from black and green to herbal infusions, as well as seasonal blends. Nothing sits on the shelf very long here because I work hard to stay in tune with customers' preferences. This ensures every cup of tea is fresh, full flavored, and tastes just right.

My business serves only New York State customers, which helps me to focus on meeting the distinct needs of the region. I am passionate about supporting other local and regional businesses, and hope you are too. Partnerships include coffee shops, fine dining restaurants, micro-grocery stores, and gift shops in central New York.

Feedback From Partners

“I’m so happy with our decision to use Flying Saucer Tea in our shops. The tea is excellent quality — we get many compliments from customers and personally it’s the only tea that I drink now — and Alyssa is wonderful to work with. She’s knowledgeable, extremely reliable and also very personable. I highly recommend her services!”

The Wakeman Coffee Co.

“Flying Saucer Tea is one of my favorite vendors to work with. Alyssa is so thoughtful about what will work for my business, and does an excellent job guiding me while still letting me pick my own direction. Her tea is one of my best sellers in my store and I plan to order for years to come.”

Serving

Preparing a cup of loose tea takes less time than making a latte and produces a much better beverage than bagged tea. I use my knowledge of tea and tea service to help wholesale partners find the perfect flavors and workflow for their establishments.

Click here to see a video showing how many coffee shops work with loose tea. Easy prep, easy cleanup, delicious results.

Servings per ounce vary, but here's an example of what upgrading to Flying Saucer Tea means for your bottom line. Serving a cup of our Earl Grey tea costs you 6¢ for a disposable tea filter and 51¢ for the scoop of tea, totaling 57¢. At two or three dollars a cup, it is good profit for you and will be the best cup of Earl Grey your customers have ever had.

Selling

I offer one- and two-ounce biodegradable, plastic-free bags as well as matte black tins of loose tea to sell to your customers for at-home brewing. They are properly sealed so they will stay fresh on the shelf for up to 18 months without any deterioration in flavor. All packages are clearly labeled with time, temperature, and amount information to ensure a delicious cup every time.

In Summary

For wholesale orders, there is a $150 minimum for your first order and $50 minimum for subsequent orders. Orders will be shipped after payment has been received in full.

I offer individualized support such as signage, recipes, consulting sessions, and in-person events — as little or as much as you want — to help us both benefit from the partnership.

Working with Flying Saucer Tea Station means receiving clear communication, prompt delivery, and quality products. I invite you to contact me to set up a tasting appointment. Thank you for considering my small, woman-owned business!
